Welcome to CIPFEM!
Centre International pour la Promotion duLeadership Féminin (CIPFEM) was founded in 2006 by American study abroad students enrolled in CIEE. By creating an organization that invests in the education of young girls, these students hope to directly contribute to the development and evolution of women’s status in Senegal.
Since its creation in 2006, CIPFEM has been awarded a PING grant from CIEE and continues to raise additional funds from local supporters.
As of December 2009, more than 30 girls are enrolled in CIPFEM.
